Sunday afternoon.

It's a crisp Sunday afternoon at the lake.
The flakes are floating lazily to the mounds of snow already resting on the ground.
The day has set my mood.
I've been curled up in my big chair, in front of the fire, watching the Olympics.

There are so many things I could have accomplished today....but sometimes it feels good to take a break from the normal routine.

 What did you do today?

  3. Debbie, I shoveled the drive again. Swept the porch. Cooked , cleaned, then played rummy with Ted. He's watching golf right now, I just finished watching "The Remains Of The Day'...love those English movies. Glad you are relaxing. We watched the games last evening too. Take care, I think of you often. xoxo, Susie

  4. I am in love with your gorgeous clock, Debbie! It looks so pretty on your window with the bird's nest and eggs. And your pillows are beautiful, looks like a cozy place to curl up! I too love watching the winter Olympics, especially the figure skating. Keep warm, hugs to you!! What did I do today? We took Katie for a long walk on the hiking trails here today, I painted a few picture frames out at the picnic table, and I wrote a letter to a dear uncle of mine:)

  7. Love your photos and the header...so pretty. Snow...what do we do with it all? Let it pile up!
Sounds like a good day there. We have cooked, done laundry, a nap, shaved Bebe and he got a bath, played with kittens and got a shower. Been on fb and played my farming game. That's about it.

  8. Hi Debbie,
It's always good to have those do nothing kind of days. Sometimes we just need that rest time to reinvent ourselves and renew.
I worked on my booth today and then painted a few small things, hung some curtains in the master bath. Had a wonderful Sunday dinner prepared by Mr. Sissie and now I'm piled up in my bed with my laptop enjoying the blogs.

    hugs

  9. I just told a friend the exact same thing. We sat and watched Olympics all day and took a nap. Doesn't get much better than that! Happy Sunday Sweetie!

  10. Sometimes it is fun to just have a day to stay inside all day and do whatever we want. Hubby and I went out to the store to get a few things, but other than that...we watched the Olympics today too.
    hugs,

  11. We had family come to stay with us at the condo we're renting in Florida and we all went for a nice long walk. Sweaters are in order for a few days but at least no snow to shovel.
I have been making myself cozy each night to watch the olympics.

  12. Good morning, Debbie.
Well, I haven't done much today (yet). Made a fire, put on the coffee, and added a new blog post. Just a lazy, happy start to the day.
Love your pillows in the 2nd photo b.t.w. ~ so pretty together!
    Have a lovely one,
    Lin

  13. I'm a little late to your Sunday party.and am trying to think what I did that day. Pretty sure that I watched the Today Show at 7, switched to CBS Sunday Morning at 9:30, then turned off the tv until they started the Olympics. Love, love, love the Olympics :)
